Summer (II) 2009

Summer started off great with many dungeness crab donated from the neighbor who likes crabbing but is allergic to crab. It took Joe a couple of times to figure out how to cook and eat them.

Sophia loved the tent until she realized it was like a play pen...

Sister Sophia decided to take the early morning shift driving. She is a morning person and appreciates the sunrise. Mom and Dad are trying to learn to accept that.

Dad and Jacob trying to become raisins at Fred's condo.

Jacob catching huge air over the fountain while JoAnne and Sophia are in the background.

Jacob is already enrolled in early pilot training.

Summer '09

Hey! Look what I can do! Sophia pulling herself to a stand... time to lower the crib mattress.

Jacob: "That's some good milk!"

Sophia: very excited about sharing trains. Jacob: Very excited when other people share their trains, not sure how he feels about sharing his trains.

JaC's Second Birthday!

JaC spent part of his second year sharpening some of his artistic skills...

When he changed focus to becoming a professional finger nail clipper SopJo was very interested (she could really use a full set!)
But it turned out his fine motor skills prevented the manecure (I was worried)

She was not upset, just entertained.

JaC had been practicing blowing out some candles, now was the big show. He was one for two...

In this set of pictures, JaC explores some of the more innovative cake eating techniques.

We might have gave him too much sugar because in the end he became very horrorshow and we hid our glazies in protection of the soapy violence.

Now let me see, if I cry they will bring me stuff and bounce me.... hmm, I wonder how trainable they are?

Mmmmmmmh...

They don't call it a lazy boy for nothing (a little gender biased though)!
